Pay Arrangements
You will be paid weekly in arrears every Friday. Payment will be made by BACS transfer based on the information provided by you. Before commencing employment you will be given a timesheet to complete. This will detail the hours that you have worked each day and those hours are totalled giving us your weekly hours to be paid. Timesheets will only be accepted by Red if they are signed and dated by you and the specified hiring manager.
Timesheets must be received at our Finance department by 10.00am on the following Monday. This is imperative to ensure that the hours are inputted onto the payroll system for timely pay the following week. It is your responsibility (not the client’s) to ensure that your timesheet has been received by Red, therefore we recommend that you call the office to confirm receipt.
Tax Queries
Before you start working for Red, we will require your P45 which your previous employer should have given you. If you don’t have a P45 from a past employer, please ask Red for a P46 or download one from the following link:
P46 Form
By having one or the other of these forms, Red will ensure that you are paid using the correct tax code for you.
If you have any queries about your income tax, please either speak to the Red Finance department on 02920 414891 or contact the Inland Revenue which looks after the PAYE taxation for all red recruitment temporary workers at:

Please quote the red recruitment tax reference number 948/KA14227 and your National Insurance Number in all correspondence.
Holidays
As a temporary worker, you are eligible to accrue up to 28 days holiday per year based on working full time hours (inclusive of bank holidays). Your leave year begins on whichever date you commenced your existing assignment with Red. Under the Working Time Regulations 1998, none of this leave can be carried over into any subsequent leave year and so please ensure that you take all of your leave in the appropriate year.
Your leave will accrue directly in line with the length of time that you work and as a very general example, if you work standard full time hours you will accrue 2.33 days leave each month. The entitlement will be pro rata for part time temporary workers.
If you want to find out how much holiday you have accrued, please contact Red’s Finance department on 02920 414891.
If your assignment finishes for any reason, all unpaid accrued holiday will automatically be paid to you in your final wages.
To request holiday, please complete a "Holiday Request Form" and give it to your consultant at Red. Please ensure that you give your consultant a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice for any holiday time that you wish to take. This is very important as this is the minimum notice that we guarantee our clients.
